Ahoy hoy! I am Steve. My name is Steve. I am 18 years into a long and wonderful life. I am currently studying Architecture and Construction Management at Deakin University Waterfront Campus and plan to for the next 6 years.
I am the sole owner of an automobile titled ‘The Pimp Sleigh’. It is a white 1985 Toyota Corona with 120 000 kms in it’s record. Top speed is 180kmp/h. I would be surprised if that was possible from ‘ol’ Pimpers’ though.
I have two 10year old Burmese cats; Mousse and Chuck. I currently own a Casio watch with the functionality of going to water depths of up to 100m.
I love music and play percussion which entails many instruments of which I have the utmost skill in. Instruments include (no laughter please): triangle, tambourine [we're building up here], claves [both together], shaker, guiro [+stick], slapstick, woodblock, cowbell, bell tree, wind chimes, bass drum, suspended cymbal, crash cymbals, tubular bells, glockenspiel, xylophone, vibraphone [my favourite], marimba, timpani [sometimes up to 2 at once!].
My accounts of playing have mainly been school based but I’m currently endeavouring on a more independent yet still group orientated phenomenon. I started performing in the Christian College Middle School Concert Band, then moved up in the world to the Christian College Senior Wind Symphony along with its Senior Stage Band [which reminds me of my skill in kazoo playing allowing me to have a solo in a Stage Band piece]. Then after finishing school last year I was a part of the orchestra in the stage show “FAME” in Geelong. I’m currently a member of the Geelong Concert Band and I’m about to embark on an incredible journey of self-discovery in the orchestra for the stage show “BEAUTY AND THE BEAST”.
As my journey [life] embarks [from this point] and disassembles [?] I will enable myself to inform you of all its operations and forthcomings. I hope that your time inside my world will be…good? No, no that’s not the right word; pleasurable [that’s the one I was looking for]
